Weir Award for Ethics and Professionalism, and in 2005 the Columbus Bar Association presented him with its Award of Merit for service to the profession.

Hobbies/Avocations: hunting, fishing, trap, skeet & sporting clays shooting, golf, reading & observing the arts.
